Overview

Poetera Poetri Makati stands out as a genuine haven for Indonesian cuisine in the heart of Makati City. Nestled at 6725 T. Taylo Street, this restaurant invites food enthusiasts seeking authentic flavors of Indonesia to indulge in a culinary journey without leaving the Philippines.

The menu centers around traditional favorites that capture the essence of Indonesian cooking. Among the highlights, the Basreng Ayam offers a perfectly seasoned chicken dish that balances spice and texture in a satisfying way. Meanwhile, the Pisang Coklat Kedai Poetra Poetri Yoo Lurr provides a sweet finish with its rich chocolate banana treat—a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

Guests often praise the Ketoprak, a vibrant mix of tofu, rice cake, and peanut sauce, celebrated for its freshness and flavorful punch. The Rendang, a slow-cooked beef dish, impresses with its deep, complex spices, although it tends to lean toward the spicier side. Meanwhile, the Gulai Kikil, a savory stew featuring beef tendon, is noted as being milder and less adventurous compared to other dishes.

Poetera Poetri’s atmosphere is casual and inviting, though it’s important to note that lunchtime can feel quite warm due to its outdoor setting. This makes evenings particularly pleasant, offering a cooler, more relaxed dining experience. The service is consistently described as attentive and quick, adding to the overall positive impression.

Just bought 2 items of martabak, sweet martabak and thin martabak in this place last night. Can say, this martabak maybe one of their speciality menu. For the sweet martabak, the texture really fluffy, rich of taste (for topping) which is nice for me. Minus are too sweet for me (preference) and soggy. Price is 290-350, big portion maybe for 3-4 people. Worth to buy. For the thin martabak, this one is really nice. Just order with ceres topping. The texture really crunchy, crispy, and rich of taste. Not so sweet, all balance. For 90-150 php, this is worth of money to buy. Took time 10-15 mins while peak hour. Which is their service rlly good.
